Jim its a little rough not to get a little rankled by your tone, but I will stay calm. I see every pick here get manhandled by MM's who may short it and wait us out. I see stocks have good news releases, and the MM's hold it steady and even walk it down. People sell, and it drops even more. The longs are turning into momentum plays. NBET did well the first day, but has since tanked. I was away from SI for a while, and missed 3.. I thought, "No big deal, I'll just buy in this dip, it'll come back" Indeed I think it will, but I have a feeling that some people are going to sell, take the loss and move on...
NBET now has to move up almost 50% to get even again... This is not natural considering the news that has been released and rumored for the near future...

Maybe we disagree, thats fine... but overall thoughts on YOUR post? P*** off

>> Why? Please, and I am dead serious, why would you need a private forum for the longs? <<

No logical reason for going private, it is rubbish. The hypothesis is that the MMs read these forums and tank stocks. If a market maker has a long position or a short position in a stock, they will let it rise if there is heavy buying coming in. A long MM in a penny stock will reap the spread and a short will re-short at the higher level. Those who shorted at the peak on NBET have a 50% return on their position now. Both MM positions win. Manipulation by BBs will always occur but it is naive to think that all stocks go down because of MMs dropping the price. There was real selling in NBET this past week; who was selling? Check out the accumulation in the days prior to the pick announcement. Those shares had a good 40% gain in just a couple of days and were ripe for dumping. BB stocks are easy to manipulate; I'd be more afraid of the hypesters than the MMs in this OTC game. Jim, your post is on target.
