Sbug remember this..... >The 16mb ASP for the quarter was $2.50/EDO and $2.40 SDRAM.<< already this q prices are at 1.40 spot and 1.80 contract...... thats 20 days of 90 that these prices are already down 41% going forward....what about when sale season kicks in.... READY set say it.... CHIPS for a BUCK....... how could anyone play this pig when now everyone knows they were in default w/banks and its not going to get better...... say all you want, bottom line is this and i'll repeat it ALL q. ASP is what...just to get back to 2.50 will genereate more of a loss since interest payments are higher with the financial downgrades.....and to get to 2.50 you need ASP to be 3.60 to average out spot price after 20 days..NO WAY JOSE.... just in case anyone wants to bring up 64mg prices spot is 7.25 and 8-9 contract.....what were they going to sell these at, i forgot? good trading pp
