Off subject but in agreement with you, Takera. . . It is clear that the internet does play a major role in the formation of beliefs and opinions in the United States. Although I believe that there are varying weights for any particular subject (I feel that most online investors, especially the more seasoned. . . those of you who reluctantly went to an online service after many years with your telephone and full-service brokerage. . . continue to do DD the old fashioned way, and are not particularly impressed with most commentary on the "stock boards"), I find it extraordinary the impact (and acceptance as truth) the doom and gloom pages (Gary North's Y2K site comes to mind) are having on the social climate. . .
