George, glad to see you're back in touch. I, too, would like to
see one of the large stones a "fancy". It would be a just reward
for our patience. However, even if one is not, which would be a
fluke anyway given the size of the sample, what is important is
whether there are yellow, green, or pink diamonds of any size.
What i'll be looking for is to see if the first percentages
reported are sustained. If they are, then it will be reasonable to
assume that larger colored stones will be found because it will
mean the correct chemistry exists to create colors and we have
proof now of large stones. There is no reason of which I am aware
that would link color with small size. The only thing that comes to
mind would be if, for some reason, the colored stones showed faults
that led to breakage but outside of a reference to such a condition
for brown stones I have seen nothing in the literature.
