Bearshark I agree with your assessment that SE Asia is not a quick fix especially on a relative basis the problem is bigger that the US RTC/S&L debacle.

If you remember AG went on 0 or negative inflation adjusted interest rate and the economy barely moved not until 1994, or about 2 to 3 years later.

Why should SE Asia be different?? well I do not know.
