I learned some time ago to avoid penny stocks. ;-)

50c less and half the techno-weenies who dabbled in stocks when IOM was hype-king will get a personal call from their brokers....and I'm not talking about the "hey, how ya doin'?" call either. <G>

But in all seriousness IOM has been a great trader for me (yes, on the long side) these past few weeks with rumor and CNBC hype. It is less volitile durring the day (one of the bennifits of the NYSE) and once it chooses direction it is good for at least 5%.

First two companies with a shot at providing market with a positive surprise are 3Com and Cabletron - not your most likely candidates for good news... Both report earnings today... COMS is expected to post a gain of $0.18, while CS is projected to earn $0.06...
