HOWARD: The problem is not in the DiskBuff location. I installed the QP2 program disk with no problem. When I attemped to run the Data Disk from my CD ROM, the program or computer went to my 3.5 inch drive instead of the CD ROM drive and came back with an error "can't find the data disk. Does anyone know how to force the program or computer to look in my CD ROM drive ( which is my H drive."

Thanks
Richard Lockie

Howard,

you have to create a diskbuf from the CD before being able to use it.
The problem seems to be that its not finding the CD. It should do this on any drive letter. I have two CD's in this box and it will autorecognize the disk in either player when I run the diskbuff program. I beleive someone else had this problem durind beta might, don't remember the problem.

Richard, can you see the directories on the data CD with explorer??

Some people had problems with some of the QP2 beta CDR being read in certain players....

Sean

There's an easier way to change the Diskbuff path once you've installed the Diskbuff. Just go to Setup and then Data Directories. (I know this doesn't solve the problem of finding the CD drive during installation, if QP2 isn't finding it automatically. That one's beyond me.)
