Things are looking better on the VLSI charts lately no doubt about that and here we are at another (the third by my reading) test of the downtrend line currently (imo) around 17 1/2. Three's a charm they say. Assuming support at 15 holds it looks like the longs might be a happy bunch around the time 2q earnings get released. I personally am covering all my shorts and might go long? Good luck.

Bad luck for VLSI continues: Last night, KQED, the PBS station in San Francisco, started Wall Street Week by playing last week's show. By the time they switched in the right tape, the panelists had already completed their discussions. So everyone watching in the SF Bay area missed the plug for VLSI. I caught it later on satellite, and Frank said "chips are looking up" - When Lou asked if you should buy all of them, he said "VLSI" and Intel. Jim
