BK,

Re:What we have in the US is the most competitive marketplace in the world where economic Darwinism is the name of the game. The Japanese need to realize that before they can continue on their road to prosperity. There is no way around this and yet they are like ostriches with their heads in the sand.

I like the metaphor of "economic Darwinism", nice term! Have you now
relented on your conviction/statements/position last year that
government supported/sponsored business/industry will continue to insure a competitive edge in a free world market?? Gotcha!!!

Amused,
BB

Remeber GM lost Billions not too long ago? Seems like eons.
What we have in the US is the most competitive marketplace in the
world where economic Darwinism is the name of the game.
The Japanese need to realize that before they can continue on
their road to prosperity.

Weren't Japanese car companies under some kind of "voluntary
restraint" quota so companies like GM can survive ? Sure it is
probably more so than other places, but there
is less "economic Darwinism" in US than you make it out to be.
Especially with that "car" analogy <VBG>
