One other interesting note: If you look at the 100 day charts of YHOO LCOS XCIT SEEK and AMZN, you will see that they have all traded down from their highs on lower volume. AMZN might be the only exception on the volume side.. Yes the volume was lower for AMZN Fri, but not significantly like the rest..

It would appear that after huge runs after the CNET and DIS deal, the consolidation has begun.. Oops left out the music selling E-mail to all the folks signed up on AMZN.. KTEL KTEL KTEL KTEL KTEL

>>It's a trading machine. I want to be on the side of the strongest players. I think they will continue to make money up and down. Am I opportunist enough to go long Amzn? Probably, and smart enough to be neutral if in doubt<<

You are right it is smart to stay neutral and take advantage of the intraday movement. I may box some of my short when it is down and unbox when it is up. I would not go long without holding puts. Possibly a good combination would be go long intraday and hold Oct or Jan puts.
