Terrence, you say altruism is evil?

Jesus said: "It's better to give than receive."

For 5 years I've supported a charity my wife runs. [check dorway, aspartame or Betty Martini on Yahoo] We have nothing to sell, have thousands of testimonial letters from people who've escaped NutraSweet poisoning. This cost as much as a couple of world cruises. You define this as evil?

We took on Prudential Insurance Co, put up a 60' billboard across from the state capital for 3 months. Later they lost a billion dollar class action suit. The sign said "PRUDENTIAL GOOSED MY RATES 836% AND GAVE ME PESTILENTIAL PRUDENTIALITIS, IT'S PRUDICULOUS! Betty Martini, Martini on the Rock, Inc." I should have simply said: "Don't Let the Rock Get a Piece of You"

I went to school barefoot, lived in an adobe house, or trailers, sometimes without plumbing or enough to eat; I'm definitely lower class. Have started and sold 3 companies still in operation, one 30 years. They support many families. Strict Christian ethics are a great advantage in business. Sold my last manufacturing company to a competitor who never checked the books, but he paid me 7 figures, he's Jewish.

You think it evil that I'm obliged to employ resources altruistically to help the less fortunate? I've sheltered and fed the homeless, spend most of my time in charity ... this is bad? Some of my best experiences have been with Jews who are often raised with emphasis on charitable works and generosity." If they like you, you're a Sicilian member of the family. Christians do not have a monopoly on ethics.

Terrence, I regretfully believe your philosophy will hurt you more than you can imagine, and you'll probably never know why. "The man who is kind to the poor lends to Yahweh: he will repay him for what he has done." Proverbs 19:17 Jerusalem Bible [Catholic]

Sincerely

Don

Please explain which teachings of Jesus you consider immoral.

Other than Jesus' statements, which "supposedly christian morals" do you have in mind?

Could you be so kind as to present logic evidence rather than invective?

Thank you, Terrence!
