Brees, I think of DF-144 and John Fisher as a dog who has run away from home. The dog may come back, he may not come back, but you don't sell the house and move away just because the dog ran away, even if he DID take all of the furniture with him!

I think you are exactly correct. We need to be concentrating on the future of this company, and start shopping for another dog...this time, one with a pedigree.

Everyone, myself included, is interested in knowing what the heck happened. And everyone has the right to know. However, there are some here who are acting as if they are owedthis information by others on this thread. That is not true. We were all privy to the same information. I don't know about you, but to me, it does not make sense to get all upset because someone can't or won't give you John Spriggs' home phone number, when one can easily find it for themselves with a little detective work. We all know the internet contains a world of information. But it has all been stated, ad nauseum.

Continued discussions on this topic will only hinder the progress of the company in any attempt of recovery, and more importantly, the progress in making another deal or acquisition.

There comes a point in time when you have to decide which side you are going to be on. It has now been a week, and people should have either made their decision already, or be making it now.

Ideally, I would like to see those of us who are committed shareholders continue to communicate on this thread, however, I would like to see the topic return to the progress of the company for the FUTURE, not the PAST.

Just my opinion,

Binder

As a Private Investor: I agree with you ... all this what if and how could and whether or this and that or anything is a moot point. I am glad someone would like to discuss how we as shareholders are going to recover from all this mess.

Well I discovered at the time of the converting "B" to "A" that there was a Capital Investment Firm in this stock with 90,000 of preferred A.

Now what has that have to do with anything well lets discuss why. When you want a new car you go to a dealer, when you want a specialist you go to a head hunter, when you want a house you go to a broker and when you want a office space you go to a consultant.

Aha there is the key that people do not understand. That is also which drew my attention to this stock a consultant now promoter ... Steven King. These type gentlemen are consultants for private enterprises and they bring them into public shells to save the IPO costs.

The market has plenty of people that do every possible aspect of the business world. Now a lot of people scream shell scam and I guess there is that to. I doubt Dan strategically did this from the start or he would not have gotten caught like he has. Also he would have done it slowly so as to not get discovered.

Anyway I let people do what they want which is good because people need to be careful with their money. Now because we have a Capital Investment Firm and a burnt Steven King I am not worried about a corporation coming to the table. Also with the warrants getting exercised and a good chance Mark was in time there is going to be a lot of money coming to Midland.

Now that is great because it will attract solid corporations but that still guarantees nothing but hopefully a reverse merger with assets and all. Better than being a shell. Anyway disclaimer done this is should attract a better corporation and hopefully already have audited financial and solid assets because the deal makers know what maybe coming into Midland in cash reserves.

Steven especially I feel is doing what he can and using all his favors & contacts because all this happened just after he came out with his news letter.

Now for doubters here are a few links to prove what I am saying: (note: I am not implying the following links or consultants are a part of Midland in anyway.)

So regardless of what the internet may say I still believe solid investing is in knowing what you are doing and using common sense.

Brees, I appreciate you looking to the future which is exactly what I am doing and have been doing since the start of making this stock an investment. Just wished all this had not had happen but it has and no one regardless of hind sight can tell me they could have discovered this any quicker.
