Chuzzlewit:

They would, except the conspirators (ministers and their flocks) all do a superb job of blanking out the inconsistencies.

>How is it possible to have a perfect god create imperfect objects (human beings) and then judge them on their imperfections?

It is only possible if the creator is insane. If the creator is insane, then everything is up for grabs.

>How is it possible to have a good prime mover (a god) create evil?

It is impossible. The creatures created could only be defined as good because that would be the only yardstick to measure them by.

>How is it possible for a perfect, omniscient god to create free will?

It would be impossible. Either the god is not omniscient, or free will is an illusion.
