Bdog, it is a good idea to write down your mistakes and post them next to your monitor..I do that...It reminds me of the dum trades I have made, and how emotion and greed can cause me to leave my disciplines...You have to develop your own set of guidelines for entering any stock and follow them...Don't follow any alledged guru...Don't buy any stock on a tip....By the time you get the hot tip the smart money is selling you their shares..Part of us always thinks that this is a once in a lifetime chance, and we'd better leap...If we do and the stock has not followed our guidelines for entry, we lose... There are so many stock promoters on Silicon it isn't funny....They are such nice people....I know one guy on a certain thread who said that his wife was nervous about him buying any more shares of this bulletin board stock but he called the company and the CEO consoled her..And the guy said he then bought more....Since that statement the stock has gone down about 20 cents....It was only at about 60 cents to begin with...IMHO, he was using every means possible to keep us little guys in, so he and the pros on his thread could feed on our flesh...
