Monty: I've run into the same problem ("End of file") a few times since moving QPV out of the Startup menu. Sometimes I thought I fixed it by opening QPV. But other times, I've viewed the charts with QPV data when QPV wasn't open, so I'm not sure what causes the "End of file" problem.

Richard: I'm not sure that we do need to check "Create DOP files." I seem to remember Gary telling me that while that was once the case with an earlier version of QP (and maybe an earlier beta version of QP2), it's no longer the case. But I may be wrong about this. However, I don't create DOP files, and everything usually works (except for the "End of file" message once in a while, but I'm not sure that that's related).

And on EMA's: Andy Gabor's scans use weighted moving averages because he finds the values are closer to those in WOW, and because he finds he prefers the timing of WMA's signals. (Or at least that's what I think he said.)

dop is required for programs like GET and I believe WOW. I never have run without them.
