T, Holographic - is the three dimensional projection of images anywhere that is desired. Currently the images kind of look like 'ghosts' and I have seen them in some of the Disney(land-world) rides. In a really 'confined' environment it can be done today. There have been some pretty neat demonstrations at some of the computer fairs. As for getting the brew, you would just see me leave the table, and get 'it myself - from the fridge'. As for my size, fortunately, the computer has the ability to 'scale' effectively! Speech recognition is both specialized and reasonably priced. I don't know how 'speech recognition' would help the 'blind' as it converts speech to text, but some of the programs (mine does) converts text to speech as well. I would think that speech recognition would work well for anyone that cannot or chooses not to type, as a paralyzed or unable to control their hands. Their brains and voices might function perfectly normally, however. I never said the YOU said 'who needs the net', I said that I SAID that, and admit that I was in error, considering all of the time that I spend on it! True, the bandwidth will have to increase, but IMHO as the bandwidth increases, so will the CPU speed need to increase. Regards, Ken
