I have to agree with Rob's line of reasoning and am warying of possible bad news in the pipeline. For a company that has been performing so well there is no reason for this 15 point dip. I have sold half my position in PPD and will repurchase on a reversal of this trend or sell the rest if we break 29. All this silence by the company is going to take its toll. Has anyone had any contact with someone at PPD to get their take on this?

Rob;
I just spoke with my broker at Paulson and shared the concern of some of us that there must be bad news in the pipeline. He said he has heard nothing to contradict estimates of .27-.29 for the quarter and that he knows of no problems with the company. He added that it is still trading at a multiple of thirtysomething which is not cheap for such a company and he feels this is sufficient to explain why it dropped from the 40's.
