Mark, I spoke to Doug Keller on June 19, 1998. He said that he was comfortable was earnings of 16 cents per share for this quarter.This quarter started off like the previous quarter, but the third month of last quarter experienced a large increase in business. The third month of this quarter has been "flat" according to Doug. Wire production is now down to 6 million units per week and HIF 500,000- 1,000,000 units per week. I asked about the possibility of a stock buyback at these levels. Doug said they currently were not considering it. The company will be having a board meeting in July, it will be interesting to see what actions they undertake to enhance shareholder value. I believe the company is looking at making some acquisitions, but Doug for confidentiality reasons could not comment on these. He said the 5 year plan is to limit exposure to 30% of revenues in one industry. The earnings are scheduled to come out on July 20 after the market close and the conference call will be the morning of July 21.
