At long last,
y2k is getting the attention and may even be politicized, especially at the heels of the tobacco bill controversy. Imagine how a well-publicized y2k failure, especially IRS or FAA, could affect the next election! IRS is already on a hot seat and an IRS failure could hit everyone's pocketbook, including the Congress.
