Yes, I have accounts at both E*trade and Datek. I prefer Datek, but keep the E*trade account for all the things Datek doesn't do, such as options, checking, and now access to IPOs. Datek is faster for order entry, execution and confirmation.

I'm moving my active trading to Dreyfus. I have posted
here in the past about them, so I won't repeat.

Not perfect, but they answer the phone. There is a
thread (don't have immediate ref but it's Dreyfus).

I trade a lot of options, so this is my primary reason
for Dreyfus over others.

Please check back over the last several days for other
comments -- hasn't been longer than a week or two.

I'm NOT extolling their praises, esp. on order flow
(not negative, just can't find definite positive data),
but I have had inside bids hit on both equities and
options, and as I posted earlier, have been made whole
on trades which weren't exercised but should have been
based on bid/ask.

Others have complained. BUT the lack of thread activity
indicates to me that complaints aren't rampant. MUCH
different from here. No checking. Do offer AON.

NOT a recco; just info.
