Take your time Bill! Just remember that paper trading is good up to a point because you don't really know how you would react when it's real money. There is nothing like the thrill of scoring a kahuna when 20 3/8s per PUT turns into 20 $5 per PUT like one of our reader's did recently. In like manner, there is nothing like watching a six point drop in one day like XRAY did recently and feeling that empty pit in your stomach because you know it's real money you just gave back to the market. Words and paper trading can never take the place of first hand experience and surviving. What you do during and afterwards is just as important as taking the first step.

Learn a simple trading system and stick with it so you take as much personal emotions out of the equation. You need to be able to still eat and sleep at night you know!
