I have read this name here many times. Who are these people?
Glenn - KP is a large venture capital firm out of Santa Clara. They put some seed money and a lot of promo into Amazon. They also have stakes in many other tech and internet entities. I think there is a website for them, but I'm not sure of the URL.
They are no doubt pulling strings all over vis-a-vis the Amazon PR, financing and momentum. Sort of like the old syndicates who pumped stocks 100 years ago, especially during past manias.
Not a whole lot has changed since J.P. Morgan and his gang were operating. Now they are on the West Coast and have blow-dried hair, but it's the same racket.
