This would be my question:

Sir, what do you think about Ingram Micro, and how do you view it in terms of becoming a potential rival to Dell?

(If MD were asked this question I believe he would answer it forthrightly. When he was asked on TV to assess the DEC-CPQ merger, he dismissed it as a threat -- and saw opportunities!)
