I can tell you that's not the case. Perhaps the reason is that when you get hit, it reports back to Datek instantly (which is usually the case) and Datek automatically enters in the remaining shares as another order (but without charging commission)?

Watching ISLD, it's easy to tell that partial executions are put at the back of the back, especially on slower moving stocks. I was not aware of the change in the specs so hopefully they'll change that soon. <g>
