Ibexx,

So the story is that Intel is investing in the Korean company producing the first Rambus chips that will be used with the 1999 Intel PII's in computers that Compaq and Dell are now planning on putting on the market then?

Can we discuss the capabilities of these computers now?

Barry

Ibexx,

Do you see Intel's investment in LG Semicon as one more substantive step in their endorsement of Rambus and RDRAM. That is, if Semicon is going to be quick out of the gates with RDRAM and Intel wants to see RDRAM succeed, then this could explain why Intel would want to support them financially and share in potential profits!? After all, we all know Intel owns warrants on RMBS stock...Just thinking.

Also, if Intel wanted to take over RMBS, why wouldn't they purchase outright?

TIA,

MileHigh
