Craig, I was talking about the first load of Word97. PII-338 takes over 2 seconds for the full screen to display. M2-208 takes less than 2 seconds to do the same job. For the 2nd load, M2-208 is also faster than PII-338. I do not keep it in the 'startup'. The PII that I am using has various multipliers. PII-333 on 83Mhz bus is not faster than PII-338 on 75Mhz bus.
