Victor, I must agree although I feel sorry for the players, they were intellectually castrated by the head moron, and boy they paid the price dearly. Bora should go back to Mexico and take this team to make it finally a world class contender, Mexico needs one or two more star strikers and a final push towards a winning attitude. Re: Predictions: Rememnber everyone gets a chance to review the predictions after the end of the first phase. Personally I am liking Brazil, close second by Argentina, Holland and may be England, I like to see them play against Romania to really assess them. But I believe that the biggest surprise is going to be Nigeria, already a great surprise, I would not be surprised if Nigeria becomes this Cup's Giant Head Guillotine.... As in Germany ? may be?... ve shall zee..... Jamaica a big disappointment, as the USA too. Z.

Victor: you are too tough on Piojo, he played badly, he is still a very good player. Pasarella was betting that he will click. Gallardo (who replaced him) comes with a great reputation (plays in River). The victory today (father's day) must have been a small consolation for Pasarella because he lost one of his sons in a stupid car accident some two years ago. I loved the way Batistuta kicked those balls in. No mercy on goalie. You are also tough on Reyna. I saw the 1st half of that game and I don't think he had anybody to play with except Coby Jones. You guys are writing Germany off. This is a mistake. I don't think they are great right now, but still a soccer superpower.
