1998 Earnings Outlook Osci, The March 31, 1998 AMVC Quarterly Progress & Financial Report suggests that 1998 sales should match 1997. It is expected that Ventek's sales will falter due to a "plywood market that remains in recession. Additionally, the Asian currency crisis has eliminated Indonesian sales prospects for the foreseeable future." I also see that AMVC is taking steps to double its number of field support engineers, add 15 new R&D and applications engineers in addition to purchasing an additional 3.4 acres adjacent to the Medford, Oregon facility for future expansion. "Although the above steps will, in the short term, add to our overhead costs, they are essential to capitalize on our longer-term market opportunities." Looks like AMVC will shine in 1999!
