Dr Gobeli is one of the Inventors of the patent. Plztech is the Asignee of the patent (ie. they own the patent). Plztech is ADOT. I think a reverse-merger was done into a once empty shell (ADOT) by Plztech. The exact date is probably in one of John White's 10 part series posts. Bob you've done some good DD in coming up with some of Dr.Gobeli's work. If you'll notice on the patent document the patent was assigned to Plztech, Inc., Albuquerque, NM. ADOT bought PlzTech, Inc. - and accompanying patents - in November of 1996 and is currently using this technology in their SLM/PLZT Electronic BillBoards. (This is mentioned in Part 1 of the ADOT Information Series in message #852 of this thread). Hope this answers your question, John
