I thank you for the detailed information on the Adaptec 2940 U2W. With my present SCSI interface card, an Adaptec 1542C, I cannot use the external connector when I use the internal connector. Hence was glad to hear you did not have problems when you use both an external an internal connector. Even more impressive is the capability to use all 4 connectors simultaneously. Definte new feature on the ultra card. They must have added ICUBE switch or something to connect them together and get the termination right... Sean
