Call it a higher power if you will. I knew that moment that my life's work from that point forward was to be a missionary for this method, primaraily for professionals so they could begin making money for their clients. I realize my payoff is some little old lady in the country that has a better retirement because she delt with a broker who was truly a craftsman rather than the majority who simply parrot their firms last recommendation. It has extended to the individual investor now. Too many things in my life have happened like this. I think everyone has had something like this in their lives but most choose to pass it off as coincidence. The lives that have been changed by "preaching" this method is astounding. It goes even deeper than simply being better at investing. Many brokers who are confused and lack confidence in plying their profession carry this home with them. It affects their home life in many ways. I have seen total changes in people once they had confidence in what they were doing at work. It extends to their family life. This to me is true success, not money. A stockbroker can affect so many people in a negative or positive way. The vast majority of brokers have no clue what they are doing which is why indexing has caught on. I believe a well educated, well motivated broker of the highest principles and integrity can make an a positive, important impact on peoples lives and the economy in general.
