Chip, Thank's for your patience with me! My understanding now is OEM is Diamond to Amptron. Scott Sellers in an interview said (hard copy sorry) boot: when might 3DFX have a motherboard solution? Sellers: I don't know what we're saying publicly about that right now. yada yada boot: 1998 Sellers: 1998 My take is replace that S3 chip on all the Compac machines, wouldn't that be the most profitable. re S3, I just saw a whole bunch of the S3 virdie card's (pallet) parked in front of a I740 card and it was priced at 49 .00 JR
