I aggree with you 110% Gerald but upon an indepth perusal of there site it became increasingly clear that the difference between the Plus one service (2100.00 a year) versus the Premium service at 4800.00 a year was not like the difference between night & day .If i am to pay as a business 2700.00 a year more for a premium service than I would expect that I would get a premium service. For instance in there WORLD TRADE ANALYZER they make a blanket statement & I quote"there is no other online source for this information" well I would beg to differ, Look at all the information that is already on PNLK'S site regarding countrys in the world & there domestic products etc.. I will give you an example of an instance in my business where I had to choose between a 200.00 service vs a 10,000 dollar service. I am a general contractor & I need ways to track my customers, so I was looking for some software that would easily track my customers with city ,state, phone #,product of interest & a host of other interests that I will not get into.To make a long story short I had a personal friend of mine who had a lead tracker with a direct dial up,with access to the cole directory etc..He wanted 10000 for his service & upon shopping the market I quickly realized that QUICK BOOKS PRO BY INTUIT was a far supperior program for 9800.00 less. The point I am trying to make is that trade compass if they are indeed a player in e-commerce can ask for 4800.00 a year for a service but that does not mean that I or anyone else would subscribe to the service!!It would be like me submitting a bid to build someones house for 3,000,000 dollars when all that the market could bear is 500,000. So who do you think Mr. & Mrs. Smith are going to choose my bid or the more competative price. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.I am not trying to insult your intelligence, but anymore the way the world works is who can do it the cheapest!!
