Ernie, I read the article and it appears that the chip is aimed at the car market with the gryo input etc. If this is available for vehicles and does the job adequately what does Intel and Microsoft need Trimble for, software design? Trimble is having a hard time with the small expansion it is doing. Don't see how it will compete with the likes of SGS Thompson for $25 chips. Maybe a techie from the thread can take a look at the article and let us know if it is a threat to Trimbles domain.
