BANYAN'S DOUBLECASE UNIT ENTERS INTO A WORLDWIDE
DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH INGRAM MICRO

Colorado Springs, Colorado - June 22, 1998 -- Banyan Corporation (OTC
Bulletin Board -- BANY) announces that its wholly owned subsidiary,
DoubleCase Corporation, has entered into a non-exclusive worldwide
distribution agreement with Ingram Micro, Inc. (NYSE: IM) for
distribution of the entire DoubleCase line of hard-sided protective
carrying cases for notebook computers and portable storage devices
such as Iomega Corporation's (NYSE: IOM) widely popular ZipT Drive.

Ingram Micro, headquartered in Santa Ana, California, is the world's
leading wholesale distributor of technology products and services, and
a leading provider of assembly and integration services, with 1997
sales of more than $16.5 billion. The company and its affiliates
operate in 31 countries, distributing more than 145,000 products to
more than 100,000 resellers in 120 countries. Ingram Micro's Internet
site may be found at www.ingrammicro.com.

Cameron Yost, Banyan's President and Chief Executive Officer, stated,
"We are very excited to be partnering with Ingram Micro, the world's
leading distributor of computer products and accessories. In the
past, limited distribution has been a significant barrier to selling
our products through larger retail stores, computer manufacturers, and
other traditional sales outlets. This is no longer the case and we
are looking forward to working with Ingram Micro to develop new
relationships and sales channels for our entire product line."

Banyan Corporation is a publicly held holding company with operating
subsidiaries engaged in designing, manufacturing and marketing a
variety of accessory products, including a full line of hard-sided
protective carrying cases for the notebook computer market - the
fastest growing segment of the personal computer industry. Banyan's
products are currently sold through a wide variety of computer mail
order catalogs, several of the largest U.S. computer retailers, Value
Added Resellers (VARs), a number of overseas vendors, and to the U.S.
government.

The Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995 provides a "safe
harbor" for forward-looking statements. Certain information included
in this press release (as well as information included in oral
statements or other written statements made or to be made by Banyan
Corporation) contains statements that are forward-looking, such as

forward-looking information involves important risks and uncertainties
that could significantly affect anticipated results in the future and,
accordingly, such results may differ from those expressed in any
forward- looking statements made by or on behalf of Banyan
Corporation. These risks and uncertainties include, but are not

dependence on existing management, financing activities, domestic and
global economic conditions, changes in federal or state tax laws, and
market competition factors.
