I truly believe that 3dfx has a winner here.

Think about this, if you were on OEM (Gateway, Dell, Compaq) and you're looking for a graphics chip to pick over Riva128 or Permedia2

-fastest 2d windows board Check! (yes the 3dfx boys actually did it, Banshee has the fastest 2d in prelimary benchmarks over Matrox G200)
-great 3d (Voodoo2 level performance, albeit with no multitexturing. However Banshee has compatibility with ALL the 3d titles out there
-low price ($150 should fit the bill)

So if 3dfx can a few OEM deals going, the earnings will take off and the stock price should follow suit.

Remmber Banshee DOES not compete with Riva TNT. Riva TNT will probably cost $300 or so... OEMs need great 2d/3d solution for under $150.
