fred,

i dont trade the ndx futures, but i do trade the index options. i have been having a riot the last 2 weeks. the volatility has made for some great trades. i was putting together my buy/ sells from that period and averaged 48% on the five trades, with none lasting more than three days and the average pretty close to one day.

i bought 2 july 1220s on fri and picked up 2 more this am. i think the index is at a peak as well and is going to retest the 1160 range within the week. i will hold 2 for the big payoff and trade the other two as i see fit.

I don't play NDX only because I don't have a good feel for it.

Checking June TASC, it's far down on the food chain relative to S&Ps with respect to liquidity. Further, you have to trade 3 contracts to 1 for equal $ profit.
