Bleeker,

It's true. We are in IBD listed as the # 1 interactive entertainment company. Page A31 I believe.

Yes, THQI was rated #1 in IBD on Friday. They had a complete story on the players in the entertainment software industry. I'm feverishly looking for the article but I seem to remember it was on the back page of the first section...

The article IS in IBD, and it is almost a half page article in the first section of the paper, on the inside of the last page.

The article is a review of the industry, with a central theme of describing how the prize typically goes to the bigger companies. It mentions THQI as one of a few smaller companies that hit the top 10 with individual games.

The tone is neutral, so I don't see any rush or mad dash as a result of the article. There is a table of companies, and THQI is indeed ranked #1. Their numbers compare VERY favorably to the other companies mentioned in the list.

As an aside, I believe the list shows ranking for a combination of IBD factors (relative strength ranking, earnings per share ranking, etc.) as well as the raw numbers. It will catch the eye of any IBD reader that looks at the article, since the list of companies is quite prominent.

The articles location is a standard spot for industry reviews by IBD.
