The problem with that contest from my point of view is that it is skewed from the perspective of value.

That is to say, I keep a lot of excess funds in my account.

Let's say Ann had $250K in her account and Barbara had $50K.

Barbaara makes a few 2 contract trades and hits for 10K net for a 20% return.

Ann hits regularly on 4 contract trades and nails 40K. Ann loses because her account is 5x larger.

I'm not going to trade larger size if I don't need to.

The contest should be relegated to percent return per contract traded.
