PC/TV Convergence May Be More About Habit Than Hardware nytimes.com

Jay, Gerald also posted the Microsoft branch of the trivergence thing a few posts back from yours, it looks like some kind of IMF/Trilateral commission conspiracy. You guys that think Bill is John Galt, watch out. Libertarian utopia? Looks more like a budding world government to me.

On the general topic of convergence, which seems to occupy the left hand side of the Microsoft octopus, I thought this article from the Sunday NYT was good. Watching TV and websurfing simultaneously on a PC never made sense to me, except for solitary occupation, and who needs that. Surfing on the side sounds better. Got to watch out for some kind of robocop headset thing.

Cheers, Dan.
