re: Has anyone heard any news on INTC which is giving the stock a boost?

For one thing, it's undervalued when compared with the rest of the market. Once Intel signals that a bottom with its fundamentals has occured (could happen as soon as next earnings announcement), this stock will be selling in the $85-$90 range. IMO, risk/reward looks very good at $70. good luck.

Look at the prices for "Xeon Warrior Princess". That ought to boost the stock.

It is not news which is giving INTC a boost, but a lack of news: The purchase of the Korean DRAM manufacturer has not been confirmed.
