That wouldn't really fix the problem because people waste SO much time responding to those posters. It then spirals downward (oh Fortuna! <- name that book!) until the thread degenerates into an infantile pissing match.

We need to be able to setup a peoplemark to ignore a certain person, while also ignoring ALL responses to that person. That would probably weed out 95% of the posts on a given thread and make at least my SI experience 95% more enjoyable...

TO ALL:

When we react by responding to pink's "messages", he has Control over us. The need to control others is a major symptom/indicator of ones own inner powerlessness or hopelessness or emptiness. To him, the content of his posts mean absolutely nothing as long as he can get posters to respond. If we respond, we freely relinquish our power over to him and he has won. He will fade away if we simply skip over his posts unread. I will not waste my time responding to Messages that are not posted with rational and appropriate motives.
