Sam, Sorry not getting back to you sooner. Your question got lost in the shuffle--I just saw it. No, I don't think INTC would want to take RMBS under its wings, not soon anyway. As Jeff Fox of the INTC astutely observes, INTC, above all, wishes to make direct RDRAM (or its progenitors) industry's open standard. (For the same reason Intel licensed MMX technology to all major competitors including AMD.) Secondly, "big brother" is looking over the shoulder--DOJ and FTC are looking for "work" to justify their existence. Ibexx
