Aleta, you've stirred 'em up over on ESVS/Yahoo. But the below comment on the other thread is the one that really counts: A statement to mkingsle & other concerned shareholders ZuluIsland (30+/Manhattan) Jun 22 1998 12:23PM EDT Read SI post # 9394, I think Partytime expressed this tit-for-tat SI vs Yahoo very well. There is no need for ANYONE to insult anyone else especially when we're on the same team & that's cheering for the success of ZULU/ESVS. Yahoo & SI are two separate message boards that provide an exchange of info/opinions etc. Just b/c SI requires a one-time-fee, does not give the right for any member to ridicule the discussions or lack of on the Yahoo board -- it is a fact that this SI member read Yahoo & posted "the find" of the conference on the SI board. After doing this, this individual then could not resist posting an insulting post on SI about Yahoo. Really, this type of behavior is unnecessary & completely immature. What is shows me more then anything else is how emotional we are (including myself) can be & have become over ZULU/ESVS. And how possessive we appear to be w/our informational finds & our emerging egos as it relates to ZULU/ESVS. If we all can't work together from these separate boards, then let us try & show a higher degree of respect of one another. Posting insulting remarks & using strong language are unnecessary when attempting to make a point-of-view known. I am interested in reading what everyone has to say regardless from what board it originates. I have grown to care about the authors of messages from both boards & look forward to reading their comments. I think we all have done a remarkable job in researching ZULU/ESVS -- so much so that books could be written on this alone. And lastly, I have developed a strange kind of ZULU/ESVS-cyber-bonding w/everyone, & b/c of this I feel I can say I have observed & learned that egos more often then not get in the way. In short, we care too much for our investment & care too much for what's going on right now w/our company so, let's cut out this crap & focus on the important issues & keep this tit-for-tat etc. out of our "collective discussions." Let's stop this unnecessary back & forth arguments & if we can't work together on these separate boards, then let's show a proper degree of respect for one another. That is not to say we can't disagree or even show our anger. We have a collective goal here & that's the success of our investment.
