I agree with you on that, my point was that breakouts do attract a lot of attention. Who knows? Maybe the chartists will look to see what the catalyst was. IMO, news always supercedes TA.

Of all the many companies that Intel has announced an involvement with over the last few years, your understated confidence in Rambus caused me to watch this one most closely. I regretted not buying it when it first came out and watched with more regret as it rose, too quickly, into the stratosphere, only to fall back to levels that I could no longer resist. I finally bought some recently at 43 and then 36 1/2.

Needless to say, I am a happy camper now and will only get happier.

Also - INTC up 2 1/2 today. Is the run-up starting here too? I think it is.

Congratulations indeed for the vision. You are right to say that charting was of no use for RMBS.

I hope still that momentum play does not kill one more time the stock by overblowing it too fast. August 98 is still two months away...
