Intel is a very different investment story at this juncture. I am quite long Rmbs. I haven't held Intc for well over a year (although I had a tripple when I sold). Intel is facing declining relative demand for its highest priced chips, and having a hard time moving masses of buyers up at real premium prices.

Rmbs may be debuting in the Intel high end market which for Intel is under pressure, but for Rmbs it is a brand new market. Which it now appears clear will begin to be filled early in 99.
