Tunisia-Colombia:0-1 Has Colombia finally lifted the ghost of Escobar hanging over them? This group now becomes very interesting. This game had the potential to be a festival of goals. But leave it up to the strikers firing blanks and the incredible performance of both goalies (especially the Tunisian). A fun game to watch wide open. The Colombians were prime target for the kill but the Tunisians just could not do it... and they deserved their fate. Sentimental favorites England and Colombia to advance. But I think England and Romania will win their next games after today. George

Romania 0 x 0 England Half time Tough game, played fast and clean... can go either way. --------------------------------- Klaus, US-boys, in order to survive 2006 WC's first round below five friendly suggestions: 1. Hire US Marine General as coach. 2. Try to get US Marine Captains as referees for all matches. 3. Get in group with Liechtenstein, San Marino and Honduras. 4. Try to get handicap from FIFA which allows US-boys to play with 15 players and 2 goalkeepers. 5. If nothing helps, try old German socks to immigrate into US. No fun, Santa Klaus, always prepared to help handicaped lady crossing the street. Either you are doing this for the fun of it or you understand NOTHING about soccer or the US.... 1. No thanks, Concacaf is getting to be quite competitive and the USA is managing just fine, learning from the best school od soccer, Latin America, not the old stiffs.... from Europe.... 4. Germany I was there at Wembley stadium... I saw the goal, and even if controversial... they went out and scored a 4th. one.... How come the Germans did not score a third one ? or a fourth one for that matter? That leads me to say.... Sore loser... Forget about it and show us if Germany can win this time around... I say Germany will not win the cup. (not this one). Z.
