The following site has a decent review of tertiary recovery operations. These are the types of technologies typically used to enhance recovery from aging oil fields. Ignore the actual data since it is a demo program on a completely made up field. Thought you could use the background for upcoming discussions regarding enhanced oil recovery (i.e., one of MTEI's goals).

Good idea Tod, and it works for me.

MTEI is in a hurry to acquire properties/companies NOW. My guess is that we will be surprised by acquisition news. MTEI management has been in this business for a long, long time. I'm sure with the network of contacts they have, things will move quickly. Looking forward to a MOTHER LODE of surprises for our friends.

GO MTEI

MTEI is having maps and surveys flown in from Florida too.

Couldn't they just send 'em FedEx? Seriously, what's the significance of this statement?

They are in ACQUISITION MODE while prices remain at modern time lows.

This statement raises an important point: is the scope of MTEI's business to acquire, or to acquire and also to exploit? Far as I know the company's never been very clear about this: in fact in their last press release they spoke only of acquisition, not of operations.

Makes a pretty big difference to the bottom line, you know.
