I agree that LSI buyout is unlikely. Low LSI stock price is one reason,
another is that they compete with each other on a number of products
and manufacturers like to have more than one supplier for chips, thus a merging
of these two would probably cause them to loose some business.

I don't feel real strongly, but strong enough to switch directions in hope
price settles back ~$1.

I agree.....the LSI buy-out rumor is ludicrious. If management was shopping the co. they would be looking for a much stronger suitor.
