Indeed, it just seems to me that vlsi s/be ~18 until something more concrete is announced. right? had vlsi admitted to be looking for a suitor, or lsi admited it's looking to buy some one... If something big is announced tomorrow I'd say the ftc has some sitting ducks. the most recent short interest numbers I could find: vlsi short interest interactive.wsj.com *******************5/27**4/24***% change ---V L S I TECH INC 2,338,858 2,094,545 11.7 assuming this has increased in the last month, and since the nasdaq volume double counts (1 share traded is 1 buy and 1 sell, vol=2) today's huge volume could've been massive short covering fueled by cnbc hype. short, hoping to be long again soon..., -Kevin
